Vintage Crossing Lighting & Decor celebrated a Grand Opening on Thursday, August 15, 2019 at 2813 Liberty Avenue in Vermilion, Ohio. The Grand Opening was kicked off with a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony by the Vermilion Chamber of Commerce.
Vintage Crossing has relocated to Vermilion, Ohio from Amherst, Ohio. Formerly Vintage Lighting, Vintage Crossing purchased the old Sand Bar building across from the entrance to Whispering Shores at 2813 Liberty Avenue. The building was vacant for over 10 years. Significant improvements were made to the building.
Present to welcome the Olney family to Vermilion were Vermilion Mayor Jim Forthofer; the Vermilion Chamber of Commerce Board Members Ed Cyrek, Jennifer Kulchar and Cliff German; Chamber Executive Director, Sandra Coe; Vermilion High School Principal Lisa Deliz; and the owners of Vintage Crossing, the Olney Family (Tim and Jean Olney, their children and parents).
Vintage Crossing offers parts and supplies for lamp assembly and repair, as well as finished products. Owners Tim and Jean Olney wanted to expand the business and required more space. Tim is a Vermilion native who graduated from Vermilion High School.
The storefront was renamed Vintage Crossing when relocated to Vermilion, while online sales continue under the name Vintage Wire & Supply Co at www.vintagewireandsupply.com.
The Vermilion building offers 3,500 square feet of space, with three acres to allow for additional storage space. In addition, the added space will allow room for workshops and classes.
