Pavilion Grill Celebrates Grand Opening In Vermilion

The Vermilion Chamber of Commerce and Mayor Forthofer welcomed The Pavilion Grill to downtown Vermilion during a Grand Opening celebration and ribbon cutting ceremony on June 12, 2019.

“Joe and Jeremy are hard at work putting out some fantastic creations,” stated Mayor Forthofer. “Stop in or order out. This is another creative addition to Vermilion's food scene!”

Downtown Vermilion's newest restaurant, The Pavilion Grill, opened at the site of the old Simple Pleasures at 5542 Liberty Avenue.

Joe Jesko and Jeremy Crawford, food truck owners, have expanded their operations into a brick and mortar restaurant in the historical part of downtown Vermilion. Jesko and Crawford will also continue to operate their highly popular food truck at Pence Lake Erie Lanes on Liberty Avenue. In order to serve Vermilion 7 days a week, the food truck hours will change to Monday and Tuesday from 11:30 am to 6:30 pm.

Crawford and Jesko built Vermilion’s first food truck, offering a diverse menu featuring sandwiches, wraps, pitas, soups, salads, and rotating specials. The food and service was well received by the community, inspiring them to expand to a brick and mortar operation. The restaurant offers everything patrons like from the food truck, and more.

Crawford and Jesko will also offer catering services.
