This Saturday would have been Vermilion’s 3rd Annual Hot Diggity Dog Day. Every dog comes with a human and that's the problem, so Main Street Vermilion will plan the event for next year; same month, same place (Main Street Beach). In the meantime, if you bring your dog to Main Street on Friday, Saturday or Sunday from noon to 4 pm Main Street Vermilion has 50 bags to give away.

Main Street Vermilion pitched an idea to Heritage Ohio to win the community $1000 to be used to buy at least 30 skeletons to give merchants and businesses in town to dress up for their October window displays, store front or in store displays. Main Street Vermilion came in second, winning $960 towards the 30 skeletons with some buy in from participants.
