The Boathouse At Moes Marine & Lyman Life Opening At Former Buyers Fair Building

Moes Marine Service, Inc. has announced that Buyer's Fair is now The Boathouse at Moes Marine. This 15,000 sq ft space will be a wood boat showroom, as well as boat storage.

Lyman Life is also coming to the former Buyers Fair space in downtown Vermilion, Ohio. The front section of the building will be a retail store offering Lyman Life genuine licensed apparel and accessories. Doors open this Friday at 1 pm.

Lyman Life was created by the Burke Family in homage to Lyman Boat Works, and to carry on and honor the core values of this truly authentic American brand. Lyman Life celebrates the quality and tradition of Lyman Boats and the memories created with family and friends on the water.

The Burke Family wanted fellow Lyman lovers to recognize one another, even when the boat's out of the water. So when they learned that no one was offering Lyman logo items, they acquired the rights and did it themselves, creating clothing and accessories to celebrate the lifestyle and the legacy that is Lyman.

Whether you own a Lyman, were touched by one growing up, or you simply like the cool designs of an authentic, American vintage brand; either way, Lyman Life is made for you.

Michelle Burke, Founder and CEO of Lyman Life, grew up near, but not on, Lake Erie. As an adult, she recently realized her dream of owning a Lyman. She feels privileged to be a keeper of her boat, Lyman Life, and is pleased that her own daughters will grow up on the Lake in one of these storied boats.

Joe Burke, Founder of Lyman Life, has fond childhood memories at the helm of his uncle's Lyman. Joe grew up on the shores of Lake Erie and the lake has always been an important part of his life. He's thrilled that his wife has discovered the joy of Lymans and looks forward to many years of boating with their daughters.

Tom Koroknay, Consultant to Lyman Life, grew up on the shores of Lake Erie during the summer months near Huron, Ohio. His father, Alex, fished the Ruggles Beach reef out of Cranberry Creek Marina (formerly Art Hayes's Marina) just east of Huron, Ohio from 1955 until the summer he took ill in 2014 at the age of 92. Tom is the owner of Koroknay's Marine/Lyman Boats in Lexington, Ohio.

Ryan Koroknay, Consultant to Lyman Life, and his sister Rachel, grew up at on the shores of Lake Erie during the summer months at Tibbles Marina in Marblehead, Ohio. Ryan has twice restored his grandfather Alex's 16ft Lyman, the last boat his grandfather fished. Ryan and his wife, Brittani, are both active duty Coast Guard. Brittani grew up sailing on Lake Erie, and she and Ryan are sharing their love of the water with their two young children.

The new store is located at 5359 Liberty Avenue in downtown Vermilion, Ohio. Visit lymanlife.com for more information.
