Vermilion’s Postcard Project Wins Best Main Street Committee Project Award

Vermilion's first Public Art Project, the Postcard Project, has been recognized as Heritage Ohio's winner for Best Main Street Committee Project.

This award is presented to a Main Street Program committee, displaying excellence in Main Street activities. The field of competitors, all doing wonderful things, is about 35 communities...but this distinction belongs to Vermilion this year!

"The awards jury recognized how this project went beyond the committee to engage the community in the selection of the views and how the artwork itself is iconic to Vermilion as a lakeside destination. These murals will add to and enhance the character of Vermilion for years to come."

Main Street Vermilion thanks Vermilion for supporting this project in so many ways...from the fans to the group that made this all worked together for big rewards: pride!
