Vermilion, Ohio will be featured on American Pickers television show on the History Channel on Monday, November 4, 2019 at 9 pm. The cast and crew visited a Vermilion property last September, according to Vermilion resident Julie Horn.
"Last year in September the American pickers came to my late Uncle's house to film an episode," stated Horn. "My friend Mike did the show with me. My husband wanted Mike to do it because of his vast knowledge of the stuff in my uncles house."
Horn stated the show had been putting the episodes together since last year that they filmed on their way thru Vermilion. The Vermilion episode will air on the History Channel on Monday, November 4, 2019 at 9 pm.
"My hope is that when people see the show they will see how much family meant to my uncle," said Horn. "He loved his family more than anything in this world!"
American Pickers isn’t your grandmother’s antiquing. Pickers like Mike Wolfe and Frank Fritz are on a mission to recycle America, even if it means diving into countless piles of grimy junk or getting chased off a gun-wielding homeowner’s land. Hitting back roads from coast to coast, the two men earn a living by restoring forgotten relics to their former glory, transforming one person’s trash into another’s treasure. American Pickers follows them as they scour the country for hidden gems in junkyards, basements, garages and barns, meeting quirky characters and hearing their amazing stories.
