Can you visit 10 parks in 10 days? The Lorain County Metro Parks is challenging Vermilion residents to visit a different reservation each day, for 10 days in a row. Everyone is encouraged to visit parks that are lesser traveled, head out early to avoid the crowds, and to follow park rules and practice proper trail etiquette – including 6 ft. social distancing.
Take a picture at each reservation that you visit. This picture could be a selfie, a scenic landscape, wildlife you saw, or even practicing social distancing and/or trail etiquette while you are at the park. Post your photos on Facebook using the hashtag #10parks10days.
With 22 reservations open for the public, and 70 miles of beautiful, scenic trails to explore, there are plenty of options to choose from!
