Tree of Remembrance Ceremony

October 1, 2022 at 8:37 am

Riddle Funeral Home will be sharing with the community the Annual “Tree of Remembrance Ceremony ”.  The program will begin at 12:30 pm on November 20, 2022 in Victory Park, located on the corner of Main and Ohio Streets in downtown Vermilion, Ohio. The event will be honoring family by remembering loved ones in a special tree decorating ceremony.

As Riddle remembers each deceased family member that they have served throughout the past year, they invite your family and friends to place a special weatherproof ornament on a tree in commemoration of your loss. Once adorned, the “Tree of Remembrance” will be a lighted remembrance for all to share throughout this holiday season.

Holidays, especially those family traditions celebrated during the Christmas season, can be overwhelming to families who try to celebrate in the absence of a loved one. Riddle hopes that through the “Tree of Remembrance” ceremony they can help shine a little light into the hearts of those who may find this time difficult.

Bring a special ornament to share in a time of tree decorating, reflection, prayer, holiday music, hot drinks, and cookies.
